Enhanced nickname security

This feature can be turned on an off using the http://my.Paltalk.com web site only if you are a non-subscribed user!  When enabled, if you log in from another computer other than the computer that you use on a regular basis, you will be asked to answer your 'secret question'. This protects your account even in the event that your password is stolen!

note:  if you subscribe to any Paltalk service this feature is turned on automatically by our servers and cannot be turned off manually!

Step 1
select 'http://my.Paltalk.com' from the 'file' menu on the 'pal list window'

You will not be able to log in from any other computer unless you can confirm the answer to your secret question at login.

You will not be able to remove this feature unless you are able to confirm the answer to your 'secret question'.

Each time you use a different computer you will be asked if you use that machine regularly. If you do, and you don't want to be prompted for your 'secret question and answer' when using that computer, select 'I use this machine regularly' on the dialog box.
